                           Bacon-Topped Cheese Potatoes

       4      medium        baking potatoes
                            Vegetable oil
         1/2  cup           commercial sour cream
         1/4  cup           milk
         1/4  cup           butter or margarine
         1/4  cup           shredded Cheddar cheese
         3/4  teaspoon      salt
       1      dash          pepper
       4      slices        bacon -- cooked and crumbled
    
    Wash potatoes and rub skins with vegetable oil.  Bake at 400 degrees 
    for 1 hour or until done.  Allow potatoes to cool to touch.  Cut a 
    1-inch lengthwise strip from top of each potato; carefully scoop out 
    pulp, leaving shells intact.
    
    Combine potato pulp and remaining ingredinets except bacon in a medium 
    mixing bowl.  Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until light 
    and fluffy; stuff shells with potato mixture.  Bake at 400 degrees for 
    15 minutes; top with crumbled bacon.  Serve hot.

                                Beef Tips on Rice

       3      tablespoons   all-purpose flour
       1      teaspoon      salt
         1/2  teaspoon      pepper
         1/2  teaspoon      paprika
       2      pounds        boneless sirloin top roast -- cut into 1" cubes
       2      tablespoons   vegetable oil
       2      large         onions -- chopped
       1      cube          beef flavored boullion
         3/4  cup           boiling water
                            Hot cooked rice
    
    Combine first four ingredients in a plastic bag and shake to mix.  
    Place beef cubes in bag and shake well.  Heat oil in Dutch oven; add 
    beef and cook until browned.  Add onion; cook until tender.  Dissolve 
    boullion cube in boiling water and add to beef mixture.  Cover, 
    reduce heat and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally.  Serve over 
    hot rice.

                              Black Forest Dump Cake

       8      ounces        canned crushed pineapple
      21      ounces        canned cherry pie filling
      18 1/2  ounce pkg.    Devil's food cake mix
       1      cup           chopped pecans
         1/2  cup           butter -- melted
                            Whipped topping
    
    Drain pineapple, reserving liquid.  Spread the pineapple in a lightly 
    greased 13" x 9" x 2" cake pan.  Add pie filling, spreading gently.  
    Next, sprinkle dry cake mix on pie filling, then sprinkle with pecans.  
    Combine reserved pineapple liquid with the butter and drizzle over 
    the mixture in pan.  Bake at 350 degress for 35-40 minutes.  Cut into 
    squares and top with the Whipped Topping.

                                 Cabbage Noodles

       5      ounces        medium noodles
         1/4  cup           butter or margarine
         1/2                onion -- cut in thin strips
       6      cups          cabbage, cut the width of the noodles -- lightly packed
         3/4  teaspoon      salt
         1/8  teaspoon      pep
    
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.  Melt butter in 
    12" skillet; add onion and cook until soft.  Add cabbage.  Cook gently 
    until tende-crisp.  Mix in noodles, salt and pepper.  Reheat if 
    necessary.

                             Strawberry Delight Cake

      48      large         marshmallows
       1                    lemon - all juice squeeze from it
      10      ounce pkg     frozen sliced strawberries -- thawed and undrained
       8      inch          commercial pound cake
       2      cups          whipping cream
    
    Melt marshmallows in double boiler.  Stir in lemon juice.  Remove from 
    heat.  Add strawberreies, mixing well.  Fold whipping cream into 
    strawberry mixture.  Split pound cake horizontally into 4 layers. 
    Spread each layer with 2/3 cup strawberry mixture.  Frost top and 
    sides with remaining mixture.  Cover and refrigerate over night.
